Day 4: Sports Day

The fourth day of our Summer Islamic Camp was dedicated to physical fitness and sports activities. SIO Abul Fazal Area, in collaboration with Quah Fitness Academy, successfully conducted the Sports Day of Rihla Summer Islamic Camp 2025. The day was designed to promote physical health, teamwork, and discipline among participants through a variety of engaging sports activities.

Sports Day Activities

4. ⚖️ Balance Race Testing balance and coordination by carrying objects
5. 🏀 Squat Ball Combining fitness with ball skills through squats and ball passing exercises
6. 🚦 Green Light / Red Light Quick reactions and following instructions
7. ⚽ Football Match Team sport encouraging cooperation, strategy, and friendly competition

Day Highlights

Day 4 was filled with energy and enthusiasm as participants engaged in various sports activities. The day began with an invigorating Taekwondo practice session led by instructors from Quah Fitness Academy, where participants learned basic moves and self-defense techniques.

Throughout the day, campers participated in a series of fun-filled activities designed to promote physical fitness while building important life skills such as teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. The Cone Run and Balance Race tested agility and coordination, while the Dizzy Dash brought laughter and excitement to all participants.

The Squat Ball activity combined strength training with ball skills, making fitness fun and engaging. The Green Light / Red Light game taught participants the importance of following instructions and quick reactions.

The Sports Day was not just about physical activities but also emphasized the Islamic perspective on health and fitness. Participants learned about the importance of maintaining physical health as emphasized in Islamic teachings, with reminders that “A strong believer is better and more beloved to Allah than a weak believer.”

By the end of the day, participants were tired but fulfilled, having experienced the joy of physical activity and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in accordance with Islamic principles.
